Why do I cover my art with glitches and watermarks?
In 2017, I came up with the idea of organic robots—autonomous, synthetic organisms derived from AI. I named them (* - - - - - *).
I just wanted to create a personal project that would allow me to express my creativity. The first sketches were made and I came up with a story that has evolved slightly over the years.
Initially, I wanted to create a narrative that, unlike "The Matrix" or "Terminator", would portray AI in a positive light! My ideas and skills have matured since then, and the general concept has changed many times.
It's ironic that when I started to create the first sketches, I was dreaming about the development of artificial intelligence and I felt like it wasn't a very popular topic back then. Since 2017, the development of technology has exceeded even the boldest expectations of experts, who at the time assured us that AI was the least threatening to jobs requiring creativity... It's 2024, and we now know that those experts were as wrong as it's possible, AI is the hottest topic in many industries right now.
Despite the whole situation, I don't look back anymore I feel that my ideas and skills have finally matured enough to bring them to life. I want to dedicate more time to realizing my own ideas. I need this more than anything and I don't wanna calculate the future anymore.
Sometimes, I'll share with you my personal work. Despite my fascination with artificial intelligence and visions of a cyberpunk future, I don’t like the current direction of the development of AI. To protect my projects from scraping and idea theft, my work will be shared online... but only in fragments. The images will be filled with glitches, distortions, and obscured parts.
The full version of my artwork are going to be revealed only in the final product.
I enjoy sharing my passion, so I'll definitely update my progress, but only in the form of sneak peeks.
